ALLIE MYSZKA

Allie Myszka is the owner and founder of Havenwell Pilates. She has lived with a multi-level spinal fusion for scoliosis since 2007, and has been teaching movement since 2017.

After discovering how much exercise helped her chronic pain in her early 20s, Allie switched careers from journalism to fitness. Her mission is to help people with spinal fusions and chronic pain regain their confidence through Pilates so they can live life with a sense of adventure and true joy– no matter what their body’s story is. Her unique, empathy-filled teaching style is fueled both by her own personal story and by the hundreds of clients she has walked with through spinal fusion recovery and chronic pain management.

Allie is a Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor, NASM Certified Personal trainer, and trauma-informed Pilates practitioner. In 2021, she opened Havenwell Pilates in Franklin, Tennessee, and has since garnered international reach with online spinal fusion education and adaptable Pilates classes for those living with fusions or chronic conditions.

Allie can (and will, if given the chance) talk your ear off about the ins and outs of pain science and the importance of mind and body harmony. When she’s not in the studio she’s typically working on a DIY home project, running, baking, or curled up with a book in a cozy chair.

CASEY REDDING

Casey has been a physical therapist since graduating from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017 and has experience in both neuro and orthopedic settings.

Her interest in Pilates began when she observed the improvements one of her patients with low back pain was making in their body awareness, strength, and pain management after beginning Pilates. Casey began learning more about Pilates and taking classes herself. She quickly fell in love with the functional combination of mobility and stability involved in Pilates and realized how beneficial this could be for her clients. She completed her training and education in 2022 and is an official graduate of Polestar Pilates comprehensive Pilates program.

Some of Casey’s favorite client goals to work towards are reducing neck and shoulder pain, improving spinal mobility, and working on lower body mechanics.

When not treating patients or teaching Pilates, Casey attempts to be outside as much as possible. She enjoys hiking, running with her husband, and snuggling with her sweet baby girl.
