Props or equipment needed:

No Pilates equipment needed, but this class uses a regular bath towel for support and assistance.

 

Here’s what this class has to offer:

Settle in and learn about the breath and how it affects our movement and nervous systems. In this class, we’ll sync movements with breathing patterns for maximum benefit and relaxation. Use your breath to move through a series of stretches and challenging core and spinal strength exercises before finishing with a restorative breath work practice.

 

Is this class right for me?

This class is wonderful for anyone with or without a spinal fusion! You’ll find plenty of spinal-fusion-friendly modifications and options in this class, and the benefits of breathing techniques can help anyone dealing with chronic pain or stress.

This class may not be suitable for those with significant knee injuries, or those who have persistent knee or wrist discomfort in an all 4’s position.
