No Pilates equipment needed, but this class uses a regular bath towel for support and assistance. If you have them available, you can also use throw pillows for support and alignment in this class.

This dynamic class offers strengthening exercises for the muscles around the spine. For those with a spinal fusion, the spinal muscles are often inactive, but this class offers fusion-safe ways to stimulate and strengthen those muscles. Additional strength work helps keep other bones, such as the pelvis, ribs, and shoulder blades mobile and functional.
Is this class right for me?
This class is perfect for those with spinal fusion or spinal injuries who are ready to strengthen their back muscles. This class offers ample options and benefits for those living with or without a spinal fusion.
This class may not be suitable for those with significant knee injuries, or those who have significant knee or wrist discomfort in an all 4’s position.
